PICTURE GALLERY - Stitches

Different Stitches can make your hat more unique. Each Gallery Link shows all the hats I've already made using the option named. There are many pictures on each gallery link page. See below for links to the individual gallery pages.

Example: Gallery Links: Description
Bobble Stitch A semi open stitch has tiny holes to show off this pattern. Bobble stitch looks great when you choose stripes, especially thin stripes.
Channel Stitch Raised cable-like vertical lines. No holes. Fun to touch~
Closed/Regular This stitch has no holes, and is less bulky. A good default choice for your first hat.
Open Stitch A good default choice for your first hat. Open holes stitch. So stretchy, it takes a long time to grow out of your size.
Open Channel The open version of the "channel" stitch. Rasied lines with holes. Fun to touch~
Popcorn Cute Cluster stitch looks like popcorn and feels nubbly. Closed stitch, no holes. People love touching this style~ Looks even better with thin stripes.
Ribbed Super snuggly and stretchy ribbed stitch. Great for 'little' heads or if you want something snug.
Ribbed 2 A version of the ribbed stitch that is less bulky.
Ribbed 3 Another version of the ribbed stitch, less bulky.
Spiderweb This stitch takes the most time, concentration and yarn to make. Raised cable-like lines that look like a spiderweb when viewed from the top. Very popular choice for Newsboy Caps.
Waffle Yum! Waffle stitch has rasied lines that make little squares like a waffle!, this one looks best with solid colors or verigated yarn.
Weave Looks like a basketweave and is very warm and thick. One of my personal favorites. This stitch looks best with solid colors or verigated yarn.
X Stitch Very open stitch that crosses in "X" pattern. Doesn't look like much until you put it on your head, then expands to a breathable netting - great for warm weather. A good default choice for your first hat. So stretchy, it takes a long time to grow out of your size.
Seashell A great stitch for the ladies, this one looks like litle shells.
V Stitch Looks like little V's. Choose thick or thin Stripes, making the pattern stand out even more.
Lacy A Semi-open stitch that breathes well and is stretchy. Stitches look like lace or flower petals if you have imgination.
Puffed Stitch A great choice for Newsboy caps, the puffed stitch looks like little clusters, bigger than the popcorn stitch. Some holes in this stitch make it breathable.
